I have just seen on the internet that the latest(2010) estimate of population in Karnataka is as follows:
Population of Karnataka consists of:
Hindu - 83%,
Muslim - 11%,
Christian - 4%,
Jains - 0.78% and Buddhist - 0.73%
I shall be grateful if you could double-check this figures and let me know the position.
